Booktalk for LOOT by Jude Watson

loot-127x195

March’s father is Alfie McQuin, a world-famous jewelry thief and a pretty good dad. Then something goes wrong during a heist in Amsterdam. Alfie falls from a rooftop and dies.

March is alone in the world.

Or so he thinks.

He’s waiting at the airport with an official he calls Mr. Soda. They’re about to board a flight for New York so March can begin his new lonely life in a group home. A different official hurries toward them with a girl his age.

She’s the twin sister he never knew he had.

Loot is a fast-paced mystery about mastermind kids who are very good at outwitting adults—which is a good thing, because their lives are at stake.
